If you live in or within two miles Dunellen, you can join the Dunellen Fire Department.

There are three types of memberships in the Department. The first is a junior member for anyone between the age of 16 to 18. The second is a senior member for anyone 18 and older. The third membership type is called an associate member. An associate member is a member who wishes to assist the fire department in a non-firefighting role.

All training required to be a firefighter is provided free of charge.
